Itinerary for Touring Cambridge by E-Scooter

This tour is designed to be a classic Cambridge city tour with an e-scooter twist. It will visit all the major landmarks in the town centre, and several of the most renowned colleges within Cambridge University. It is equal parts fun history and scooting! Perfect for a beginner or someone who wants to see Cambridge in a new way.

The e-scooter tour will begin on the Regent Street corner of Parker’s Piece park, next to the University Arms Hotel.

Like all of our tours, we will start with a safety tutorial to bring everyone up to speed on the basics of e-scooter use. Overall, the majority of this tour will be on cycle-friendly roads, roads with attached cycle lanes, or independent cycle paths.

Once everyone is ready to go, we will move into central Cambridge. We will discuss the historic rivalry between Cambridge and Oxford whilst weaving our way through the many colleges. This tour will illuminate all of the history, traditions, and goings-on amongst university students.

Partway through the tour, we will travel across the River Cam and continue on a picturesque scoot along the River, offering some of the most spectacular views of the university. We will, of course, stop and observe the famous Mathematical Bridge.

Our use of e-scooters allows us to see more sites than traditional walking tours, so this is a complete Cambridge experience!

We will finish the tour down King’s Parade, the very heart of Cambridge. From here you can continue using your Voi E-Scooter or grab some lunch at Market Square.

E-Scooter Rental Cost Explained:

Please note that the E-Scooter cost is not included in the price you pay today. You will need to rent your E-Scooter on the day of the tour via the Voi App. This can be done when you arrive at the start location.

E-Scooters are normally rented on a price-per-minute system. However, we advise all our customers to purchase a 24-Hour Pass. This pass costs just £9.99 and is the most cost-effective way of renting an E-Scooter for the duration of the tour! Your guide will be on hand to help you un-lock and purchase this pass before the tour.

This means that the total cost of the experience is £34.99.
