Covent Garden, Spitalfields & Borough Market Tour Itinerary:
The tour will begin in South London, where every customer will access their electric bike and be provided with a helmet (view on map). This tour is specifically designed to visit three markets. We will take a leisurely and picturesque cycle to each location. Upon arrival at each, you will learn some of the history as well as some local recommendations and tips from your experienced tour guide. Then, at each stop, you will be given a short time to explore the stalls of each market:
Covent Garden – We will begin by cycling to London’s most central and iconic market. Covent Garden has been the epicentre of commerce and entertainment for over 400 years. Today, its various stalls offer some of the finest antiques, gifts, souvenirs and wonders you can find in London. As well as being in a truly beautiful setting this is a stop not to be missed.
Spitalfields – next we will cycle through the streets of the City of London and arrive at one of the jewels of East London: Spitalfields. This is one of London’s oldest markets and has been the hub for numerous East London communities for centuries. Today, it is a lively and exciting destination a stone’s throw away from Shoreditch and Brick Lane.
Borough – The final market we will visit is arguably the best. Or, at least, the tastiest! Borough Market is London’s premier food market. Here you can wander through the stalls and experience hundreds of tastes and smells from around the world. What do you prefer? Sweet? Savoury? Doesn’t matter – Borough market has everything!!
Our London market tour will traverse around 16km and take you to Central London, East London and South London as we explore the 3 most renowned markets in the capital. After the tour, you can enjoy the opportunity to continue riding your electric bike and keep exploring …
