All of our London e-bike tours are run by using Human Forest, a leading e-bike rental company operating in the capital. Your guide and Human Forest e-bike will be waiting for you at the start location. We will also provide every customer with a helmet.

Westminster & City of London Tour Itinerary:
The tour will begin in South London, where every customer will access their electric bike and be provided with a helmet (view on map). We will immediately head to the political heart of the United Kingdom: Parliament Square. Before heading to the home of the British Monarchy: Buckingham Palace. We will then continue to Trafalgar Square, an absolute must-see for any visitor to London. The first half of this tour will take place in Westminster and discuss all the history and traditions that make this the epicentre of modern-day London.
From Westminster we will cycle east along a cycle highway that runs adjacent to the River Thames, offering spectacular views of the waterfront and other landmarks such as the London Eye. In the second half of the tour, we will explore the City of London, which is the financial and economic hub of the United Kingdom. As we journey by electric bike, we will be passing such sights as St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Guildhall, The Bank of England and The Tower of London.
Throughout our biking tour of London, we will include several stopping points to take photos, hear stories, and ask questions. You will need to rent your e-bike on the day of the tour via the Human Forest App. This can be done when you arrive at the start location. More details are provided below.
Your guide will be on hand to help you access your e-bike. The e-bike rental cost will be £6. This means the total cost of this experience is £36.00.
Downloading the Human Forest App:
Ahead of the tour, you will need to download and set up an account on the Human Forest App. Please ensure your account has up-to-date payment information. We advise all our customers to input the relevant debit or credit card information before arriving for the tour.
You will need to use the app to unlock your e-bike at the start of the tour, then lock the e-bike at the end of the tour. Therefore, please ensure your phone has a reasonable battery charge.
All necessary information, including a link to the App Store and Play Store, will be included in your booking confirmation email!
Age Restrictions / Requirements:
For all of our electric bike tours, the minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
Safety:
Our tours are planned to be as safe as possible. They use bike-friendly roads and cycle lanes wherever possible. The group capacity is limited to 10 customers. We also provide every customer with a helmet. For more information about how we make our tours safe, visit our Safety Page.

What to bring:
You will need to bring a smartphone that can access the Human Forest App. Please ensure your phone has a reasonable battery charge. We also recommend bringing a bottle of water and wearing comfortable (weather appropriate) clothing. Feel free to bring a bag, all of our Human Forest e-bikes include a basket.
Weather:
Please note this is an outdoor activity, therefore we recommend bringing appropriate clothing for all weather. If it is raining or cold we recommend wearing comfortable footwear, a warm coat and gloves. We may cancel if there is heavy rain or snow. We will only cancel tours if the weather makes for an unsafe riding experience.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations more than 72 hours in advance: full refund or rearranged tour.
Cancellations on short notice due to severe weather (such as Met Office weather warnings, strong wind or heavy rain/snow): full refund or rearranged tour.

Absolutely! E-Bikes allow us to effortlessly explore large parts of central London.
On one of our e-bikes, we can go further and see more sights than most other tours. Plus, the electric pedal assist means you won’t get tired! This allows us to see even more than most traditional bike tours. In addition to this, London has developed to become an incredibly micro-mobility friendly city, with plenty of cycle paths and bike-friendly streets.

The tour will begin in Emma Cons Gardens, The Cut, London, SE1 8LN.
The nearest underground station is Waterloo station. It is also close to Southwark underground station, Lambeth North underground station and London Waterloo East station. It is also opposite the front entrance of The Old Vic Theatre. The location and directions will also be provided in your booking confirmation email.
Your guide will be waiting for you in a high-visibility vest with enough e-bikes for every tour participant.

A basic level of cycling proficiency is required. However, our tours are specifically designed to be as safe and as easy to do as possible. So don’t worry if this is your first time cycling in London, the tour goes at a leisurely pace using cycle-friendly roads. There will also be plenty of breaks and photo opportunities. In addition to this, our e-bikes mean you can cycle without really getting tired! In the meantime, we recommend reading visiting our Safety Page.

Yes, we require all participants to wear a helmet whilst scooting to adhere to our safety requirements. We will provide helmets for all customers. You are also welcome to bring your own helmet.
