All of our London e-bike tours are run by using Human Forest, a leading e-bike rental company operating in the capital. Your guide and Human Forest e-bike will be waiting for you at the start location. We will also provide every customer with a helmet.

Please note that the e-bike rental cost is not included in the price you pay today. You will need to rent your e-bike at the start of the tour via the Human Forest App. The e-bike rental cost will be £6. This means the total cost of this experience is £36.00.

It is an elaborate and meticulous ceremony that involves both the Household Guard and the Household Cavalry. Our electric bikes will allow us to see various parts of the ceremony and explore more parts of the spectacle than traditional walking tours. London Changing Of The Guard Tour Itinerary:

The tour will begin in South London, where every customer will access their electric bike and be provided with a helmet (view on map). This tour will provide you with an incredible, unparalleled look at the Changing of the Guard Ceremony. It will also show you some of the most important and iconic Royal sights in the Westminster area. This tour will teach you all the most important history surrounding the Royal Family!

We will begin by heading to Westminster Abbey, where the very first King was crowned in 1066. Here, we will discuss the history of the foundation of the British Monarchy and why it has become such a world-famous phenomenon. 

Next, we will cycle to the Horse Guards Parade where we will learn about the Changing of the Guard and who the soldiers are. Then our tour will follow the ceremony, witnessing different regiments in different locations. We will see elaborate uniforms, mighty cavalrymen and hear the music of the battalion bands! Enjoy all the pomp and ceremony of the Royal Guards first-hand with us! Along the way, we will see the most important and famous Royal landmarks including Buckingham Palace, St. James’s Palace, Clarence House and Westminster Palace! 

Our electric bikes allow us to cover more ground, quicker and with less effort. This means we can watch various parts of the ceremony in multiple locations. Our bikes allow us to see more of the Changing of the Guard than many other, traditional walking tours! E-Bike Rental Cost Explained:

Please note that the e-bike cost is not included in the price you pay today. 

You will need to rent your e-bike on the day of the tour via the Human Forest App. This can be done when you arrive at the start location. More details are provided below. 

Your guide will be on hand to help you access your e-bike. The e-bike rental cost will be £6. This means the total cost of this experience is £36.00.

Downloading the Human Forest App:

Ahead of the tour, you will need to download and set up an account on the Human Forest App. Please ensure your account has up-to-date payment information. We advise all our customers to input the relevant debit or credit card information before arriving for the tour.

You will need to use the app to unlock your e-bike at the start of the tour, then lock the E-Scooter at the end of the tour. Therefore, please ensure your phone has a reasonable battery charge.

All necessary information, including a link to the App Store and Play Store, will be included in your booking confirmation email!

Age Restrictions / Requirements:

For all of our electric bike tours, the minimum age requirement is 18 years old.

Safety:

Our tours are planned to be as safe as possible. They use bike-friendly roads and cycle lanes wherever possible. The group capacity is limited to 10 customers. We also provide every customer with a helmet. For more information about how we make our tours safe, visit our Safety Page.

What to bring:

You will need to bring a smartphone that can access the Human Forest App. Please ensure your phone has a reasonable battery charge. We also recommend bringing a bottle of water and wearing comfortable (weather appropriate) clothing. Feel free to bring a bag, all of our Human Forest e-bikes include a basket.

Weather:

Please note this is an outdoor activity, therefore we recommend bringing appropriate clothing for all weather. If it is raining or cold we recommend wearing comfortable footwear, a warm coat and gloves. We may cancel if there is heavy rain or snow. We will only cancel tours if the weather makes for an unsafe riding experience.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations more than 72 hours in advance: full refund or rearranged tour.

Cancellations on short notice due to severe weather (such as Met Office weather warnings, strong wind or heavy rain/snow): full refund or rearranged tour.
