All of our London e-scooter tours are run in partnership with Dott, a leading e-scooter rental company operating in 17 cities throughout Europe. Your guide and Dott e-scooter will be waiting for you at the start location. We will also provide every customer with a helmet.
Please note that the e-scooter rental cost is not included in the price you pay today. You will need to rent your e-scooter at the start of the tour via the Dott App. We will provide every customer with an exclusive promo code that allows you to unlock and use an e-scooter for the duration of the tour at a discounted rate. Join us as we dive into a thorough retelling of the history of London. This great city began as two rival settlements – Westminster and The City of London. Our Ultimate Tour takes you on a discovery of both of these unique areas.
The City has stood for two thousand years, functioning as a pseudo-independent city-state built upon trade, powerful guilds, ancient customs and enduring traditions.
Westminster has become the heart of the British Royal Family. For generations, it has been home to Kings, Queens, Uprisings, Rebellions, Civil War and much more!
This tour will unravel the fascinating history that combines these two polarised London boroughs. You will learn of their rivalry, their competition and how they eventually merged to form the UK’s current buzzing capital city.
The tour will begin in Circus Place, next to Finsbury Circus (opposite Liverpool Street Station) (view on map). All of our tours start with an in-depth safety tutorial and a lesson on how to ride an e-scooter. On top of this, all of our tour routes have been completely e-scooter optimised! We use scooter-friendly roads and plenty of cycle lanes. So whether you’re an e-scooter expert or completely new, you’ll enjoy a fun London tour and a safe adventure!
This is the most extensive tour we offer and will take you on a 7.5 mile guided scoot through three London boroughs. Along the way, we will visit every major London landmark!
We will begin in the City of London, gliding through the streets passing skyscrapers and castles alike. The City offers an incredible look at the ancient side of London, as well as the thriving financial district it has become today. We will stop at both the Tower of London and St. Paul’s Cathedral, learning all the best stories these two iconic buildings have to tell.
From here, we will cross the River Thames to admire the spectacular skyline on show. We will zip through Lambeth and come to the London Eye before tackling another bridge that will transport us straight to Parliament Square.
As we stand between the hallowed halls of Parliament and the spectacular buttresses of Westminster Abbey we will turn our attention to London’s royal past. Hear all about the rise, fall and rise again of the Monarchy as they have evolved over the centuries. The tour will conclude around Trafalgar Square, the centre of modern-day London. From here, guests can explore Covent Garden, Buckingham Palace, Soho or even continue scooting! Please note, we are unable to visit Buckingham Palace on the tour due to current e-scooter regulations. However, we finish the tour within walking distance of the Queen’s home!
The rivalry between The City and Westminster goes back hundreds of years. Today they live in harmony, side by side, but it has been a rocky road. E-Scooters are rented on a price-per-minute system. We have arranged an exclusive discount with Dott. On the day of the tour, your guide will provide a promo code that will allow you to access an e-scooter for the whole tour at a discounted rate. The total cost of your e-scooter rental will be £12.00. This means the total cost of the experience is £52.00.
Your guide will be on hand to help you un-lock your e-scooter and input the correct promo code.

Ahead of the tour, you will need to download and set up an account on the Dott App. Please ensure your account has up-to-date payment information. We advise all our customers to input the relevant debit or credit card information before arriving for the tour.
You will need to use the app to unlock your e-scooter at the start of the tour, then lock the e-scooter at the end of the tour. Therefore, please ensure your phone has a reasonable battery charge.
All necessary information, including a link to the App Store and Play Store, will be included in your booking confirmation email!

For all of our electric scooter tours, the minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
In addition, you must be in possession of one of the following:
- A valid provisional or full UK driving licence.
- A valid full licence from an EU or European Economic Area (EEA) country.
- A valid full licence from another country that entitles you to drive a small vehicle in the U.K.

When you first access a Dott e-scooter you will be asked to verify your identity, therefore you must bring your driving license along on the day of your tour. You will need to scan your license via the Dott app, therefore you must bring the plastic photo-ID version of your license, not the paper counterpart.
If you do not bring your license, we cannot guarantee you will be able to access an e-scooter.
Don’t have a license? Or has your license recently expired? We also offer a collection of excellent E-Bike Tours. All of our e-bike tours do not require a driving license so provide the perfect alternative!

Our tours are planned to be as safe as possible. They use scooter-friendly roads and cycle lanes wherever possible. The group capacity is limited to 10 customers. We also provide every customer with a helmet. For more information about how we make our tours safe, visit our Safety Page.

Please note this is an outdoor activity, therefore we recommend bringing appropriate clothing for all weather. If it is raining or cold we recommend wearing comfortable footwear, a warm coat and gloves.
We may cancel if there is heavy rain or snow. We will only cancel tours if the weather makes for an unsafe riding experience. Cancellations on short notice due to severe weather (such as Met Office weather warnings, strong wind or heavy rain/snow) will come with a full refund or rearranged tour.
Customer cancellations more than 72 hours in advance will also come with a full refund or rearranged tour.

The nearest underground station is Liverpool Street station. It is also close to Moorgate station. The tour starts on the south side of Finsbury Circus Gardens, on the corner of Circus Place. The location and directions will also be provided in your booking confirmation email.

A basic level of scooting proficiency is required. However, our tours are specifically designed to cater to e-scooter novices. So don’t worry if this is your first e-scooter experience, the tour goes at a leisurely pace using scooter-friendly roads. There will also be plenty of breaks and photo opportunities. Unfortunately no, due to the nature of the current UK e-scooter legislature the minimum age requirement is 18 years old for all of our e-scooter tours. In addition, every member of the tour must be in possession of a valid provisional driving license. See below for details.

Yes, we require all participants to wear a helmet whilst scooting to adhere to our safety requirements. We will provide helmets for all customers. You are also welcome to bring your own helmet.

If you do not have a valid driving license then you cannot take part in one of our e-scooter tours. However, we do offer e-bike tours. All of our e-bike tours do not require a driving license. Check out our e-bike tours here!
