ScooTours offers the first e-scooter and e-bike tours in the UK. All of our London e-scooter tours are run in partnership with Dott, a leading e-scooter rental company operating in 17 cities throughout Europe. Your guide and Dott e-scooter will be waiting for you at the start location. We will also provide every customer with a helmet.
Please note that the e-scooter rental cost is not included in the price you pay today. You will need to rent your e-scooter at the start of the tour via the Dott App. We will provide every customer with an exclusive promo code that allows you to unlock and use an e-scooter for the duration of the tour at a discounted rate. The e-scooter rental cost will be £12.00. This means the total cost of this experience is £52.00.

Villains of London Tour Itinerary:
Our Villains of London tour provides a fantastic opportunity to hear evil stories you wouldn’t typically find on other sightseeing tours! Join us on an adventure of sinister stories and creepy tales as we uncover some of the most infamous enemies of London. We will dive into the darker history of London by discussing East End gangsters, Nazi Spys, treacherous Dukes and even grave-robbers! We will embark on this dark discovery by e-scooter, allowing us to roam the streets of the City and visit a large collection of eerie locations.
The tour will begin in Circus Place, next to Finsbury Circus (opposite Liverpool Street Station) (view on map). All of our tours start with an in-depth safety tutorial and a lesson on how to ride an e-scooter. On top of this, all of our tour routes have been completely e-scooter optimised! We use scooter-friendly roads and plenty of cycle lanes. So whether you’re an e-scooter expert or completely new, you’ll enjoy a fun London tour and a safe adventure!
We will begin the Tour on the edge of the City, at the location of a once-mighty gatehouse. Here, on the cusp of the East End you will learn of the most infamous serial killer in history and the most renowned gangsters London has ever produced. Then we will continue our narrative of villains …
We will head to the Tower of London and discuss the murders, executions and mysteries connected to this world-famous landmark. Hear of disappearing Princes, executed Queens and some criminals who desperately attempted to escape the block!
From here, we will weave our way through The City stopping at churchyards, alleyways and pubs as we uncover the dark and evil side of London. We will see locations such as The Monument, St. Mary Le Bow, Smithfield Market, The Rising Sun Pub and Blackfriars Bridge. Throughout the tour, we will look at the lives of those who terrorised London, from World War II-era spies to Elizabethan conspirators!
The tour will finish across Blackfriars Bridge in South London. This tour is available 5 days a week. To add to the atmosphere, why not consider an evening tour? E-Scooters are rented on a price-per-minute system. We have arranged an exclusive discount with Dott. On the day of the tour, your guide will provide a promo code that will allow you to access an e-scooter for the whole tour at a discounted rate. The total cost of your e-scooter rental will be £12.00. This means the total cost of the experience is £52.00.
Your guide will be on hand to help you un-lock your e-scooter and input the correct promo code.

Ahead of the tour, you will need to download and set up an account on the Dott App. Please ensure your account has up-to-date payment information. We advise all our customers to input the relevant debit or credit card information before arriving for the tour.
You will need to use the app to unlock your e-scooter at the start of the tour, then lock the e-scooter at the end of the tour. Therefore, please ensure your phone has a reasonable battery charge.
All necessary information, including a link to the App Store and Play Store, will be included in your booking confirmation email!

For all of our electric scooter tours, the minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
In addition, you must be in possession of one of the following:
- A valid provisional or full UK driving licence.
- A valid full licence from an EU or European Economic Area (EEA) country.
- A valid full licence from another country that entitles you to drive a small vehicle in the U.K.

When you first access a Dott e-scooter you will be asked to verify your identity, therefore you must bring your driving license along on the day of your tour. You will need to scan your license via the Dott app, therefore you must bring the plastic photo-ID version of your license, not the paper counterpart.
If you do not bring your license, we cannot guarantee you will be able to access an e-scooter.
Don’t have a license? Or has your license recently expired? We also offer a collection of excellent E-Bike Tours. All of our e-bike tours do not require a driving license so provide the perfect alternative!

Our tours are planned to be as safe as possible. They use scooter-friendly roads and cycle lanes wherever possible. The group capacity is limited to 10 customers. We also provide every customer with a helmet. For more information about how we make our tours safe, visit our Safety Page.

Please note this is an outdoor activity, therefore we recommend bringing appropriate clothing for all weather. If it is raining or cold we recommend wearing comfortable footwear, a warm coat and gloves.
We may cancel if there is heavy rain or snow. We will only cancel tours if the weather makes for an unsafe riding experience. Cancellations on short notice due to severe weather (such as Met Office weather warnings, strong wind or heavy rain/snow) will come with a full refund or rearranged tour.
Customer cancellations more than 72 hours in advance will also come with a full refund or rearranged tour.

E-Scooters are the perfect way to zip through London! They’re quick, lightweight and speedy. London has developed to become an incredibly micro-mobility friendly city, with plenty of cycle paths and scooter friendly streets.

A basic level of scooting proficiency is required. However, our tours are specifically designed to cater to e-scooter novices. So don’t worry if this is your first e-scooter experience, the tour goes at a leisurely pace using scooter-friendly roads. There will also be plenty of breaks and photo opportunities. Unfortunately no, due to the nature of the current UK e-scooter legislature the minimum age requirement is 18 years old for all of our e-scooter tours. In addition, every member of the tour must be in possession of a valid provisional driving license. See below for details.

Yes, we require all participants to wear a helmet whilst scooting to adhere to our safety requirements. We will provide helmets for all customers. You are also welcome to bring your own helmet.

If you do not have a valid driving license then you cannot take part in one of our e-scooter tours. However, we do offer e-bike tours. All of our e-bike tours do not require a driving license. Check out our e-bike tours here!
